Dr. Gerstman has been practicing family medicine in Fort Washington since 1981. He graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1974 with a B.A. in bioanthropology. His M.D. degree was received from UMDNJ—New Jersey Medical School in 1978. His Family Medicine Residency was completed in 1981 at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ. Dr. Gerstman places a great emphasis on teaching - this includes his patients, medical assistants, students, medical students and residents in family medicine. Since 1981, he has served as a faculty member of the Abington Family Medicine Residency Program. An active member of the community, Dr. Gerstman has served on the Upper Dublin Township Open Space Committee since 1995 and has been a Committee Leader for Upper Dublin Community Day since 1994. |
